Reiki is a practice that is non invasive and non medical that assists you in healing. A Japanese healing art that is energy based and a spiritual based practice.
It helps you to cultivate a sense of inner peace and helps to align the mind, body, and spirit in order to facilitate balance, peace of mind, and bring you closer to Universal knowledge and wisdom.
Listen, I practice Reiki as a means of keeping my mind clear so I can make good decisions. As a mother of two kids, who happen to have special needs, my mind is often overextended and I need to take time out for myself to center and stay focused.
This practice has helped me manage my anxiety and not let my mind float off so I'm easily distracted. It has also helped me to connect with my daughter, who is Autistic and mostly non verbal. She's able to calm down and work on breathing and staying present with me during her meltdowns while improving her ability to regulate her emotions.
More recently, I've been practicing to constantly release any emotional stress and manage any somatic symptoms that come up like nausea and vertigo that happen when my stress level increases.
Our bodies let us know when we are overextended. Reiki has helped me greatly with being more attuned to when my body is speaking to me, as well as just being more attuned in general to the environment around me.
In the past, I've had Reiki sessions that helped me with successfully releasing chronic aches and pains and womb trauma and issues.
Reiki has become an important part of my lifestyle as a practitioner. It's not just something I use with my clients, but it's something that I use for myself in my daily life and I can tell the difference.
Reiki came into my life and helped support me in a time that I needed it most and I'm grateful for the practice. I'm openly practicing with clients and look forward to being on track to teach so that others can learn what has helped me on my healing journey and they can enjoy the beauty of letting Reiki heal them as well.
